THE STORY OF THE PASTY

A Pasty is a type of pie, originally from Cornwall, England. The pasty evolved to feed the miners to give them an easy and nutritious meal. It is a freshly baked pastry filled with an assortment of savoury meat and/or fresh vegetables, It is not to be confused with a Pastie, which is a nipple patch used by exotic dancers.
